A challenge for doctors, lawyers, architects , it professionals, tradies and ex -inmates - is they do their time, learn their profession and trade and go into the outside world - with no knowledge of leadership skills, business and business processes and how to get ahead in this dog eat dog world .
Many get jobs and feel that they are in a rut.
Others become entrepreneurs and set up their own business
Instead of answers - I just have a lot of questions
- How do you break through the ceiling of the deeply entrenched power structures of the baby boomers ?
- How do you outperform, play politics, and make it to the top?
- How do you empower and support diverse teams - and #breakthebias - and build a culture that’s not only diverse - but also equitable and inclusive ?
- How do you have different people for into decision-making roles ?
- How do you beat recruitment bias?
- How do you as a “new age human” get to make those key decisions about how you treat your staff, who you promote and what stories you celebrate?
- How do you get to make decisions about what content you produce, what products you build, and how you spend your capital.
- How do you play your own game, break the rules of the existing game, and redesign and reshape the systems you operate in?
To answer some of the above - you need to build on the foundations - you need to understand the current rules of the game.
