Since operating my VA businesses over the years, these are some of the things I have learnt along the way.
1. Trust yourself only, trust your instincts
2. Focus on you and how you can improve yourself and your business, don't worry about your competitors
3. Use fear to your advantage
4. Opportunities lead to more opportunities, maybe not there and then, but in time they will
5. Don't sell, collaborate and share
6. Be different, look at things from an outside perspective
7. Always be polite and thank people for their comments, advice and feedback
8. Be true to you and your branding, don't try to be anyone else
9. Set yourself goals every 6 to 12 months and revisit
10. Marketing only works if you are persistent and consistent and not every marketing strategy you use will work the first time
