Rio Tinto pledges $10b on climate action to halve its carbon footprint by 2030 and be Carbon Neutral by 2050

A major investment is to Change gas fired electricity of its iron ore mines to renewables says CEO Jacob Stausholm.

BHP has committed to reduce its  carbon footprint by 30% by 2030 and be Carbon Neutral by 2050

Fortescue is investing billions including the $20b Sun Cable Project with Mike Cannon Brookes looking to supply Asia with Solar Energy from Australia . Twiggy is looking to make his puppy Carbon Neutral by 2030!! 

And 

Sydney’s train network is moving to renewables hopefully by 2025  and has committed to a 4 year agreement with Snowy Hydro - potentially saving 700k tonnes of CO2 per year! 

The Government  is committing to $500m subsidy for the take up of Electric Vehicles 🚗 and buses 🚌 - and the money is coming from the “Clean Energy Finance Corporation
