Shock happens when people realise that their lives are at stake. Today people in EU are in shock and buy iodine pills and strategise about bunkers.
People, especially not in the “west”- are far from climate shock .Only when ppl are in the stage of globally understanding that global warming is worse than a nuclear winter will they be open to a regeneration kind of thinking.
You can’t lead blind people into your thinking before them being really shocked.
One needs to explain to people in India and China and Brazil why 2050 is an irrelevant target. If only a quarter (west) agrees with you will not get ahead.
