Around the world, countries are experiencing second and third waves.
Complacency is like petrol on the COVID-19 fire.
A few weeks ago we launched the Service NSW COVID Safe Check-In feature.
This is part of the critical digital infrastructure that helps us respond to the pandemic, keep businesses open and keep people in jobs.
There are many benefits of the Service NSW COVID Safe Check-In feature:
🔹 The NSW Privacy Commissioner has been engaged in the development and design of the feature;
🔹 The data is destroyed after 28 days;
🔹 No paperwork for businesses;
🔹 Seamless experience for the customer.
So far the results are really positive, we have:
🔹 5,738 businesses are using the Service QR code;
🔹 Over 9,000 people have given feedback with a mighty 92% thumbs up.
More importantly, in a few weeks time, we will be enhancing the app so that in the event NSW Health issues an alert for a venue you visited, you will receive a notification on your smartphone.
Information is power; the more information that we can provide you the better equipped we all are, to fight this pandemic.
