Holly Beckley,( https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6522362097261637632) a fashion intern at Cosmopolitan writes on her linked-in post about a 45 minute meeting with the CEO of Gucci, Marco Bizzarri, which as she says is a game changer for her.
Her are 2 key lessons learnt
1. Ask
She ASKed to meet him for a coffee - he agreed (which turned into a glass of Chardonnay) and got to talk to him about business strategy, the fashion industry and her career.
2. “Should I work small vs large fashion brands - which might be better for me establishing my career.”
His response was profound .
Marco started off in a small firm and now is the CEO of Gucci.
It doesn’t matter where you start as long as you keep your vision and dream in mind and work towards that - without a doubt it will become your life’s reality.
If you can think it you can become it. All it takes is the courage to ask one question for your dreams to materialize in your life.
